A tow truck and a toolbox
Most towing companies can only move your car. That limitation shapes every conversation they have with you.
Julius Towing LLC runs tow trucks and a mobile mechanic out of East Point, covering the south and east side of metro Atlanta hardest — the airport corridor, the southern Perimeter, the Connector and I-20.
The combination is the whole idea. A towing company has exactly one solution available to it, and it is the solution that puts your vehicle on a truck. That is genuinely the right answer a lot of the time. It is an expensive answer for a dead battery, a snapped belt, a flat tire or an empty tank — and those are an enormous share of the calls that come in.
So the first question here is not where are we taking it. It is does this need to go anywhere at all. Sometimes the honest answer is yes, and you will be told so plainly: an overheated engine, a collision, a transmission that will not move, a car that is not safe to drive. But you will find out which one you have before you are billed for the wrong one.
What this site is not doing
You will notice a few absences. There are no stock photographs of tow trucks in states we have never been to. There are no invented customer testimonials. There are no fifty near-identical city pages generated to catch every suburb name in the metro — Google treats that as scaled content abuse, and more to the point, a page that tells you nothing real about a place is worth nothing to the person reading it.
What is here instead: the roads we actually run, written by someone who runs them. The situations that actually come up on those roads. And service pages that only list work Julius genuinely performs, because advertising something you have to decline on the phone is worse than not advertising it.
The rules of the shop
You get a number on the phone. If the situation on scene turns out to be different from what was described, you are told before extra work happens — not after.
Traffic on the Connector at five o'clock is real, and pretending otherwise is how people end up standing on a shoulder watching an empty road. Forty minutes and meaning it beats fifteen and hoping.
Drivetrain, clearance, access and whether it rolls. Four questions that prevent almost every wasted trip in this trade.
The mobile mechanic exists so that "you do not need me to move this" is a sentence we are actually able to say.
Questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and you are entitled to ask for confirmation before anyone touches your vehicle. Anyone who bristles at that question is telling you something.
Do you do heavy-duty or commercial towing?
Not at present. This operation is set up for cars, light trucks and SUVs. If you have something heavier, call and we will tell you honestly rather than send a truck that cannot lift it.
Do you do motorcycles?
Not at present. A motorcycle needs specific equipment to transport without damage, and doing it improperly is expensive. We will point you to someone set up for it.
